We had such a fantastic experience at the Hudson Diner! The food was absolutely stellar—the burger was incredibly tasty, the fries were perfect, the coleslaw was great, and the Greek salad was delicious. Our kids loved every bite, and the carrot cake was the perfect ending to our meal. What makes this place even more special is that we’ve been visiting this location for about a decade, and we’re thrilled to see the diner restored to its former glory. The ambiance is perfect with those classic booths and that old-school, no-fuss feel. Everything is just right, and they’ve managed to keep the prices reasonable, which makes it a welcoming spot for regular visits. The service was super friendly and fast too. They dealt well with a packed Saturday night dinner rush. We’ll definitely be coming back often, most likely mid week with kids in tow!
A lovingly and thoughtfully renovated diner that serves food which feels both comfortable and expertly executed. The sherbet brought me back to being a kid in the best way. Don’t skip the Greek half chicken or the tuna melt. Or the Atlantic pie. The staff is 5 stars too!!

Unimaginably delicious! Had steak tartar for the first time and the texture-the flavors-so amazing. The fries are perfect. We had the mozzarella sticks and salad. Great portions. Quality food and meat. The tuna melt was delicious. And the desert was absolutely to die for! Butterscotch sheet cake-omg moist soft fresh and the frosting was incredible. Big portion and had the rainbow sherbet on the side! The best. Too 5 best desserts I’ve ever had -so nostalgic. Everything is done to perfection here. Really fun vibe. Everyone so super kind and attentive and the owners are awesome! Thank you to the head chef and owner. Really one of the best places in Hudson! We will def be regulars now. One of the best overall diner experiences around. Great high quality comfort food at reasonable prices. Been there at dinner and breakfast/brunch. Love the Greek chicken, fried coconut shrimp, sausages, French toast, and hash browns. Atmosphere is lively, communal and kid friendly. Love seeing the kiddos in the restaurant. If you’re having a bad day or need a pick me up this is the place to go for the cure.
This place is pure magic. Exactly what you want a diner to be, but just a little more beautiful, a little more thoughtful, a little more delicious than it has any right to be. Perfect diner food with an elevated touch — the Special Burger is absolutely chef’s kiss. The vibe is RIGHT: warm, nostalgic, lively without trying too hard. Feels like the kind of place you wander into once and immediately wish had always existed in your life.

Came for dinner on a Friday night, and had to come back two days later for breakfast! The food, drinks, and service were all incredible. Best margarita I’ve had in a long time, and the home fries at breakfast are unreal. Will absolutely be back on my next Hudson trip.
